    weird feeding response?
We have a 700g male that has eaten f/t rats since we got him in december. He used to strike and coil the rats but lately he softly strike the rat and eat it without coiling it, is this normal?

I have a male that does this. My carpet python does this as well. Nothing to be worried about.

I had a ball that when given live would constrict but on F/T wouldn't even strike, she would just gently take it with her mouth and start swallowing. She was too smart for her own good.

Totally normal for a snake who is fed f/t for a long period of time.
