    meet buddy
Well for a while i wanted a crested gecko but never really pursued it. well anyways after talking to this girl for about 3 months and her being afraid of my boas when they are out and her saying she liked geckos i decided to get one for myself and couldnt pass up the deal on this little guy. he is super calm and settled in nicely to his cage.

    here are pictures of buddy

yes it is a petsmart find but for $40 i couldnt pass him up. he would jump off my girlfriend to come back to me. i cant wait till he starts growing.

one question tho. How do i know he is eating? just by finding poop in the tank?

any first time tips for crested geckos? right now i have him on CGD and misting twice a day. his temp is around 72-75 in the tank and have his water on the ground and food up on the wall. but i will be buying the magnetic containers and switching over to cocohusk in about 3 months once i notice he eats and poops regularly.
