I have a reptile heating pad that I plan on using. Does it go under the actual tank or just under the bedding? also do I leave it on 24/7?

I dont have any lamp or light source..will I REALLY *need* one? or wil the heating pad be okay?

I already replied to this in your post in the General forum, but I will add that as far as a light for visibility - not needed. I have a flourescent light for my BP to mimic the day/night cycle. But that's just for me to see with. he could probably care less.

    Under the tank itself.
