Pastel het clown pricing?

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting, so if im posting this in the wrong area, im sorry.... Now on to my question.
I may be getting a pastel het clown female in a trade along with some other snakes, and am just trying to figure out her value. She hatched in late 2011, she's right at 1,400 grams, and comes with paper work proving her genetics. I dont have a any clowns or het clowns in my collection, so i will probably just end up selling her and dont want to be unreasonable on the price, but im not sure yet if I would sell her, considering I hardly ever see adult female pastel het clowns for sale. Any estimates would be appreciated, thanks,

You are probably looking at about $1000 to maybe $1300 in there. I would honestly try and breed her... even if you pick up a clown boy for $800 or so you could make pastel clowns which sell for about $1500 or so... or that you could sell and make your money back on the original clown... just my 2 cents

ps -- everything depends on the quality of the animal and if you trust the breeder you are getting her from. there are alot of scammers out there!

Really? only 1K, I thought they were worth more, but I most of been mistaken. Most of the hatchlings I have seen have been around $750. I have seen people asking 800-1200 for normal het clowns, so I really wasnt sure. But thank you so much for the feed back.

I would say she is worth quite a bit more than a grand. I've seen large proven het clown females sell for 1500 in the last month. You can pick up a proven het clown male for probably under 200 bucks and try for pastel clowns. This close to breeding season I would find it tough to let her go without trying to get a clutch of eggs out of her.

the biggest thing you just said was proven het females... if you get her and prove her out... make sure and take alot of pics.... but then she will be in the 1500 to 1700 range.. but virgin hets scare people because there are so many people who just arent honest out there... unless its a big scale breeder its 50/50... check fauna's BOI and make sure the person you are trading with is reputable...
