    I decided to share this photo as I saw a post a while back with someone asking why the tip of the tail was pointy, thinking it was caused by stuck shed or something else. Well this just shows some snakes don't have a round tip, but a sharp one!!! This is my Hogg Island boas tail BTW!

    Hmmm. Interesting. I think it's probably just the way the scales come together and they form a sharp tip like that. Cute tail, btw. :D

    Mine has a pointy tail too. Sometimes it doesn't feel loo good when he grips me in just that way.

    I've noticed that my boas seem to have more of a point than my pythons do. Especially my male Argentine - his is almost barb-like. :D
