    What does het mean?
Do you guys keep your undertank heaters on constantly, or do you have them on during the day and off at night? Just wondering; I keep mine on constantly.

Well TECHNICALLY mine gets turned off multiple times a day ^_^ But thats because my thermostat regulates the temp. It turns it off when it gets to 95* and then turns it back on when it drops below 90*

But other then that I don't touch the heatpad and it supplies heat through day and night. If Elysia wants to cool off she can take a bath in her water or go in the coolside hide, which I might add is perfect for cooling off. Its a ceramic flower pot base with a hole in it, and its buried in my eco-earth substrate so its nice and cool in there cause its insulated by the substrate on top of it and keeps it cool.

She doesn't like to use the cold side much, but she does use it every once in a while. She stays mostly under the hotside log and behind her climbing thingy on the cool side. she likes slithering in the back there cause its nice and tight.

Ours are on constantly. We use overhead lights "as needed" which isn't much in the summertime.

Mine is on a proportional t-stat so it is always on to some degree.
Same as with my overhead lights they come on and off as need w/ the Esu t-stat

24/7 for my kids! Besides, if you turned it off you wouldn't really have your gradient - and I believe giving them choices at all times is the way to go. :)

I'm sure i'm misunderstanding this - your pad isn't in your tank is it? You mean through the floor of the enclosure, right?
