First clutch pipping!

Got home from work today to our first clutch of the season pipping, on day 55! It was a mystery clutch, possible papas were spider pastel and mojave. Looks like the spider got the job done!

Once it pipped I opened the egg some more to check the pattern. One egg down, 4 to go!

Congrats! Can't wait to see them all!

Well the results are in. Looks like 1.1 spider 1.2 normals. I'm happy we got a female spider, I was hoping to hold one back :-)

Only 2 spiders, but we are happy one was female. We need some more females for the collection :-)
