Just a leeeetle bit purple

Two years after hatching him, my lavender albino is finally, finally starting to turn purple.

Not spectacular purple. Not "quick, take a picture and show him off on the forums!" purple. But he's definitely not white anymore. He's definitely more lavender than off-white now.

I think it's pretty much the coolest thing ever.

Aw, okay. It's really not that much, and it'll be hard to photograph. But I'll put him next to my 2 year-old regular albino tomorrow, and do a comparison shot. They do look pretty different.

I can't wait for the compare Photo :)

I'm jealous, still raising up some hets still.

Two years? That seems kind of a long wait. Is that about average or do some color up at different times?
