What did my BP just throw up?
So, here I am playing on my computer when I hear Tyrion doing something in his tank next to me. I look over and I see him puke up something...

It's been 1 week since he has been fed, so I am curious what he could be puking up... Please see the two pictures. The thing is still in his water bowl, I haven't taken it out yet (but will shortly)

Anyone have any ideas what this is?

That's really bizarre, as it looks just like when my snakes poo out a hairball. Seems like it's just a hunk of fur, but it's not good that he threw it up. Has he been defecating normally for you, and how often?

My bp has also thrown up something similar to this. Someone on the forums asked if he was on paper towel l substrate. To me it doesn't look like hair. But if it is, maybe it was just a block.

He's only on paper towels for me. He seems to be defecating regularly. How often does everyone elses BP's defecate? He just stank up the house on Friday with a huge poo, so everything seems to be working.

My foster BP is on a 2 week schedule for feeding, and generally poos about a week after eating. He does urates at least once a week though. The other fosters were on weekly feedings, and usually pooped the day before or day of their next meal.

That's good that he recently defecated. If he is of good weight and seemingly healthy, if it was my snake, I would wait an extra week or two before feeding again. When they vomit, they are losing some of their natural gut flora, and it can take some time for it to regrow. He probably didn't lost very much with that little thing, but to me, I'd rather wait a little than risk feeding too soon and causing another regurge.

A really smelly poo can be a bad sign. I can usually rely on my girl to defecate roughly 1 week after feeding. Obviously higher temps will yield shorter poo intervals, and colder temps will mean longer poo intervals.

Is your snake pooping regularly for him/her? Does her poo normally smell bad? Did she encounter any particular stress not normal for her?(temp swings, over-handling, overly large prey item, etc)?

He seems to be doing fine. He went poo again on Friday and ate last night. So, everything seems to be fine, for now anyways. I will still keep an eye on him though. Sorry for the late update, I was letting him be.
