Price Check on Aisle 5! Mojo het Pied X het Albino clutch.
This season, I bred my male mojave het pied and my female het albino. The clutch produced 1.0 visual mojave 50% het albino/50% het pied
and 2.3 normal looking 50% het albino/50% het pieds. Coming up with a market value on the clutch as a group or individuals is difficult, as I haven't been able to find anything comparable on KS or Fauna. While I originally planned to use them as a project, but I'd rather focus more on my Ultramel and Black Axanthic projects. I've been thinking about putting them up for sale or trade lately, but --- it is a cool project and I'd be super excited to see an Albino White Gold in a couple years.:banana:

So what do you all think the group is worth, or even the value on them individually? Any ideas?

    Code Red....Lay Away :D

The Possible Double Hets are worth as much as a normal and the Mojave PDH worth the same as a regular Mojave. Not much of a mark up on Possible Hets unfortunately. My .02 cents.

    ^This^

As for the possible hets, what I used to do when hatching PH, I used to keep females with good markers to raised them up and sell the rest as normal.

Wow, that's surprising. I would have thought they'd be worth more than a mojo and normals. Sounds like the best situation would be to hold them back and prove them out. All the girls have awesome pied markers, so I have a good idea about the PH pied situation. I'll probably list them as a group price on the site I'm building and if they don't sell, I'll just hold em back and see what happens. :please:

Possible hets are just a tough sale when it comes to genes that are no longer considered high end. And possible means a gamble, and 50% possible is even more of a gamble that many won't be willing to pay a lot more for, which is why I always prefered to keep the females raise them up and prove them (which obviously increase their value if you do) and let go of the male.

To give you an idea I sold 2012 100% DH Albino Pied males at $200 last season, I kept the females but females were selling for $1000, so take into account the price drop and the fact that yours are possible hets and that will give you an idea.

You can always try to put them on sell but it will be hard.
