55 gallon saltwater community?

I wanna start a 55 gallon saltwater aquarium. I have little experience with keeping aquatics, though I have done a lot of research and know a little bit. I want to start a community, and I was wondering what would be some good tankmates for clownfish? I also might have a starfish or 2. I just want to know what is compatible and unique for this tank. Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

It depends. Are you gonna do a reef tank or a FOWLR tank?

Same here. If you look through my pics I think I have one of my tank in there. Starfish are tricky. Most are already dying by the time they get to the consumer. Pm me if you need any advice

Starting small I salt water is a BAD idea. Water conditions are so specific to theses types of fish. The larger the tank the less likely you will mess up balances. I interned at the aquarium for my undergrad so I know quite a bit about fish even though it is not my area of study.

Also don't do invertebrates until you can handle fish. Use black Molly's to cycle your aquarium and then clowns are very hard after, same with damsels, but they are aggressive.
