    New Rack - Tub Protocol?
Hey guys, so I'm planning on doing so, but I was wondering if you all fully wash and sanitize your new tubs from Target (or Walmart - ew) before using them for the first time?

If so, what is your procedure?

I was thinking hot water and soap, and then F10 for 10-15 mins.

I just scrub mine down with warm water and dawn dish soap. F10 or 10-15 minutes after that wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I just do dawn soap and warm water as well.

I wash them with water/vinegar and treat them with proven-a-mite and after they're completely dry, I put them into use.

Any new hide, tub, or water dish gets scrubbed down with warm water and dawn. F10 wouldn't hurt afterwards but I don't think it's needed and your wasting product.

Spray, wipe, rinse with a 1/32 concentration of bleach/water. Sanitized and good to go.
Make sure all of your animals have been properly quarantined before throwing them together in a rack.
