    Someone was hungry....
I fed my t, Charlotte, yesterday. Gave her one small cricket which she happily took. Normally she goes back to her burrow when she eats but she stayed up top. I took care of my other critters while keeping an eye on her and after she didn't hide, on a whim I grabbed the last cricket and offered him up thinking she was probably going to refuse. Uh, no. She jumped ON TO my tongs grabbing him. Wish I had gotten a picture but I was too suprised and by the time I'd thought about it she was off and crawling back into her burrow. So memo to self: next time spider is still out after one cricket, feed anwyays. Girl might be hungry still!

And on another note, I got a small cricket keeper for her food. It has the water gels and the gut loaded cricket food on either side with two tubes. I had nine crickets in there on Thursday and they were fine, but by monday seven had died. The room is temp controlled and their food and water gel levels were fine. Is losing that many normal?

Haha I'd love to have seen that. Crickets are fickle things. I've had that happen before, especially with the large ones. Which is why I buy them in the hundreds :) How long ago did you get them? And when was the keeper last cleaned?

She's normally so laid back it startled me. I've never seen her move so fast (or jump!) before haha.

I got the entire set up on Monday and put the crickets in right after I set up the cage and food and water. Maybe that was where I went wrong? I do know they can die randomly though.

I tried to attach a picture of what I got to the message (tried meaning I'm on mobile and idk if it will work) its one of the small ones because as of now, she's our only t and at most we might add one more and I don't know people who might want/need cricket feeders, so I didn't invest in a larger cage cause I figured what's the point. Maybe that was the problem :/
