    ALBINO Breeding??
Hey guys I went up to the daytona reptile expo and bought an albino female that is like 16 days old so I'm not in a rush but I don't know what to breed her to.

Since I'm 13 it is hard to make money so $500 dollars is my top price so what should I breed her to???:confusd:

Ohh and any name suggestions would be awesome:D!

she is actually a high contrast and is my profile pic.

Since the albino gene is recessive, if you want to see visual albinos (instead of normal snakes that are heterozygous for albino), then you would need to pair her with something with albino in it. So, albino, pinstripe albino or spider albinos are all cool, but right now the last two would probably be above your price range so your best bet would be a male albino. You did the right thing by buying a female first, since they take longer to get up to breeding size. Good luck with her!

^ What Don said. You can also get something het for albino, which would be closer to your price range.

I already have a spider and pastel so I want a diverse collection so what do you think would have a big demand besides an pastel albino and a spider albino

I don't think this person is old enough to be responsible enough to be thinking about breeding any animals. Even so when they might be 16 before ever seeing babies.

Everyone starts somewhere. Some people start younger than others. Responsibility is not necessarily defined by your age.

I would lean towards the spider het albino morph to go with your visual female albino. They look great and are generally found at a decent price. Plus since you have plenty of time to grow your female to the appropriate size, you should have no problem finding one at a good price. Time is on your side with this one. Good luck!

Thanks and to a certain extent I agree with the snake guy but remember I'm not making any business out of this and I will have to go to college in 5 years so I will keep my collection small which will give me the ability to carefully watch over each of my snakes!!:D

There really aren't a lot of combos with Albino that I like better then just a regular albino. It would have to be something that adds interesting things to the pattern like possibley pinstripe, het red axanthic or maybe cinnamon. Of course if you could find any of those that are also het albino that would definitely be a plus.

I agree with Mark when it comes to liking albinos, I personally would just go out and buy a male albino. That way, when you get babies 100% will be all albino, and if you wanted to make it a business that's a good $300 per snake.
