so... we did it.
We cut our eggs. Today is day 55, they are all healthy which is great.. but im sad to say we didn't get any albino babies. This was our first clutch ever... and i am glad they are healthy, but i was hoping to prove these 2 out. They were both sold to us as 100% het albinos, so kind of bummed i didn't even get 1. My question is how many times would you breed them to try to prove them out?
And yes, i will upload pics when they start showing their little heads! They look to be really bright looking normals!

Re: so... we did it.
het to het with only 4 eggs. don't give up on them, it happens. better luck next time, don

i forgot to mention, there were 7 eggs.

I normally give them 3 seasons to prove out.
If I dont get anything in those 3 seasons then I deem them not het.

If it's het to het breeding I give it two clutches. If it is visual to het I only give it one clutch. I know I may miss one from time to time but for me it's a matter of real estate. I only have so many slots in my racks so I can't hold on to questionable hets. If it's a high end project I may give it an extra try.
