Zilla, the columbain tegu!!

Hi everyone! it's been awhile. Just though I would share some photos of my tegu I picked up a couple of months ago. Was kind of on the thin side when I got him, and that's when these photos are from. He's a lot bigger now. Eats kind a beast! Enjoy!

Nice! Thats what I originally wanted. Some on craigslist sold me this guy as an Argentine, and when I got home I found out otherwise. Lol oh well, I like him just fine :rolleyes:

Columbian tegus usually reach 3 and 3½ feet in length and can weigh about 8 pounds. And I hear they can live around 15-20 years if they are cared for properly. Though most usually don't live anywhere near that age due to improper care.
