Wont eat and i need help

I have a baby ball python that's just under 2 months old and she wont eat. I have tried frozen and live pinkies and she is not interested, a live small mouse and she killed it but did not eat it and I tried a small rat pup that again, she killed and did not eat. I have a albino blood python, another BP, 2 Californian kings snakes, a corn snake, and a pastel that I got at the same time I did mine they are 1 clutch apart. They all eat fine but mine will not. She is in a tub that is a little over a foot long and about 8 inches wide. Her heat source is a small heat mat under her hide but I am unsure of the exact temperatures. All I know is when i take her out to hold her she is very warm on my skin, so I would assume its at least in the 80's. Anyway, she is very skinny, she has a lot of loose skin that i can see unlike the pastel who is eating and healthy. Does anyone know what I can do to help her?

First off, you need a thermostat and thermometer at the bare minimum to control her environment. It's possible she hasn't eaten because her temps or humidity is off. Does she have any hides? Do you have pics of her setup? That would help tremendously.

Also, how often are you offering food, and how long has she been refusing?

Your body is warm enough that if he feels very warm to you, it's going to be higher than the 80s.. You need to regulate the heat. Try leaving a pre killed overnight

I'm rehabbing a snake for a friend right now, that does exactly this. FWIW, this is with no guesswork on my husbandry. It's entirely possible that something is going on in her setup that she isn't happy with. If she's "very warm", that heat mat is probably way too hot.

He will kill anything larger than a mouse pinky, and leave it. On a whim about the third time he did that here, I pulled the first dead prey item, and offered another live one. That one he killed and ate. So that is how I have been feeding him since. More often than not, he will kill and eat the first prey item, but if he kills and leaves the first he will always eat the second. Just seems to be a quirk of his that he is slowly growing out of. He is packing on the grams now that he's on larger prey, and I can't wait to see how happy his owner will be when he gets him back.

Worth trying if you have the extra rodents?

Are you still in contact with the breeder? What did they have her feeding on? Perhaps they would take her back, and get her going again?

i have no pics right now but can post some later, i do have a hide ( that's were the heat mat is under ), and i have offered her three time since august 2nd

no im not in contact with my breeder but i live by a reptile fourm and ill just buy 2 rat pups and try it out thanks

The most important thing I think you need to do is get a thermostat to regulate the heat. Heat mats can get pretty hot and burn your snake. I wouldn't be in the mood to eat either if I was being slow roasted :O.

She is in a tub. With and extra small heat mat that goes on for 2 hours and off for 1 and it repeats

You really need to get something to control the temperature. Check out the Zilla 11939 Temperature Controller to control the temperature. You can find them pretty cheap online. Anywhere from 20-25$ shipped. Use that along with some kind of thermometer. I use the Acurite Digital Indoor / Outdoor Thermometer which you can find at Wal-Mart for under 15$. Get both of those and you'll be set. You really need to keep the temperature constant. If your heat pad is off for an hour the temperature will go down quite a bit.

Heat pads, especially the small ones, cool down quickly. Think 10-15 minutes. So that's 45 minutes with no heat and two hours of possibly too hot. They won't eat if they're too hot and can't digest if they're too cold. Your temps need to be consistent and monitored. I measured an extra small heat pad without a thermostat once out of curiosity and it was at 135 degrees in about 30 minutes. That'll roast your snake.
