Where can I find Rosy Boas in SoCal

I've been looking for these guys for years now, can't find any, do you guys have tips of where I can find them and when the best times to look for them are? Thank you :)

We used to have them at my old house... We had caught a starving baby and nursed it until it was ready to be set free :)
King snake are also abundant there, and so are rattlesnakes. Some day soon I want to go back over there and look for them myself ^^

We also have some over here in hemet, though I've only seen one. Some kids had caught it and took it to our local pet store because it looked injured.

Rosies seem to be a hard find, I've only seen a few in the wild(I wasn't looking for them though :P )

Go down hwy 78 East, once you get past the small town / city of Julian scan the rocky outcroppings in that area. You can find Rosy Boa, as well as Lampropeltus cali out there once you are around 2-3000 ft in elevation, and find them till just before you break into the desert habitat as you get down to about < 2000' elevation. Then you start getting into sidewinder territory.
