    average hatch day?
    Just curious... on average, around what day do your eggs hatch or start pipping? I know they can vary a bit, but just wondering what the average is for most. I'm impatiently waiting for mine to start pipping and we are on day 52. I've already peeked at them twice today.. (bad, i know... just can't help it!)

    If you're waiting for them to pip on their own (I would) you can expect that between day 58 - 60 on average based on the average I've seen here.

    I have had pipping on day 54 and as late as day 62, but you have 2 days usually between pipping and hatching.

    Lots of posts here are lacking some pretty relevant information. Temperature of incubation is directly related to the amount of days.

    I incubate at 89 degrees, and mine pip on/around day 57.

    I incubate at 87.F to 88.F (Typically closer to 88.F) and clutches tend to pip around day 58 to 62.

    True:

    87-88 = 58-62

    89-90 = 55-58

    86 = 63-65

    91 = 54

    around that based on observation
