hi everyone, i plan on taking rockie to the vet to get probed(so i will finally know if it is a rockie or a roxy!) and have his poo checked for parasites and stuff, i hear that they can get pretty agitated when they are doing the probing. any advice on making the trip a less stressful one for him ?

Lots of baby talk - just kidding. Just be sure he's comfy and temps are good. I put my guy in a pillowcase (turned inside out to avoid getting caught on threads) with a knot in the top, and then so he can feel the security of a bottom and sides (like a hide) I put him in a cooler. I wedge the cooler so that it doesn't move much during the ride in the car, and I turn off the radio to avoid any stressful vibrations he might hear/feel from the speakers.

Okay I'll admit...then I talk to him the whole way there and let him know what's going to happen and how important it is, how the vet is a good guy and how much I love him....

LOL! I'll probably end up talking to my snake during a vet trip.
