    Been a long time..
Hard to believe its almost three years since my last post. Really been a ghost when it's come to snake keeping. Unfortunately I had to sacrifice a good snake collection to join the Marines back in 2010. Never really left my mind though, there was always a part of my that still said I want to keep snakes after my contract is up. And thankfully I have a friend who suddenly wanted to jump into ball pythons from retics. So over the past year, since I got back from my first deployment, we started gathering up some snakes. First purchase was through a friend that I've known ever since I got into ball pythons about 2005ish, which I purchased a female albino, female mojave, and a female pied. Those have been the three biggest purchases I'd say. We also have a proven het ghost female, an enchi male, a butter male, and three or four normal adult females. And my buddy successfully bred and hatched baby balls for the first time, which he cant be anymore excited about. I can't remember everything he hatched. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to show since I don't feel like bugging him for pictures at this precise moment.

But about three weeks ago I decided, "I'f I'm going to jump back into this, might as well do it bigger than I had before." So I gave another friend a call who I've known for probably 6 years or so now and we went over a couple options. Eventually we came up with this guy:

Banana bumblebee ph ghost. Unfortunately he probably wont be big enough to breed this season, but that's something I'm fine with. I have one more deployment left, soon, and not long after that I'll be living back in the civilian life and I'll most likely pick up some more stuff to breed this guy to

It's definitely nice to know that once my time here is up I'll have something to keep me occupied that I actually like to do. Now I just need to get some more females and perhaps another male.
