    Indoor/Outdoor Carpet for Sub?
So, today a man came into my place of work and wanted a 6x2 foot peice of Indoor/Outdoor carpet. As usual when someones asks for such a small piece I ask what kind of project they're working on. Sure enough he replied that he used it to layer the bottom of his snake's tubs.

I'm contemplating on trying it out myself, being it would last quite alot longer than bark or newspaper. Anybody know if there would be any downsides in doing so?

It's difficult to clean, perfect breeding ground for bacteria as it is hard to disinfect between the fibers without using heat.
You also need at least 2 pieces so when one is washing, the other can be used.

I'd say if your going for flat substrate you're better off with paper towels, newspaper, butchers paper, etc...
