How do you find out the closet hub to ship to?
Hi, I was just wondering if someone could tell me how I could find out how to ship to a fedex hub the closest to a customer? Also, Is there usually a certain you have to wait either when the place opens or do people have to wait longer than that to know when to pick them up or would there be an email sent to the customer to let them know? Thanks

Google fedex store locator. Type in the address of your customer then click the filter button. Choose staffed location and in additional services, hold package at location for pick up. Make sure when you print your label, type HOLD PACKAGE AT LOCATION FOR PICK UP in the comment section. Fedex will call your customer once the package is there and ready for pick up.

I give the seller the address of the hub I want as there are two the same distance away from me, but one is much more convenient to drive to during the morning rushhour.

Do what Rexrem said! That is exactly what to do. FedEx calls their staffed locations "FedEx Shipping Centers" not Kinkos, etc. Also, I've had all my deliveries held for pick up and they NEVER call me. I'm usually there by 10:30 (when normal delivery should be) and they are always sitting in the office.

I've always just called 1.800.Go.FedEx and asked them. I've been told only certain facilities are allowed to accept live animal shipments.

Shipping to a hub is the best way to ship imo.

Whenever a buyer gives me a Fedex address I always call and verify it is a hub and not a Kinko's....
