eggs going soft?

    eggs going soft?
    We just did a quick check on the eggs, and we noticed that the eggs are feeling pretty soft. Pretty sure they weren't like this yesterday, but can't say for sure since we just peeked in the tub yesterday.. We are on day 50. My guess is that they are softening up so that the babies can pip easily... is this the case? I hope they are ok... :please:

    You're exactly right. they become soft and plyable so that the babies egg tooth can slit the egg.

    Yes, it is completely normal. They will go soft and start to dimple. You are about to get some new babies. Congrats!

    Thanks so much! They've been dimpled for about 2 weeks, but the soft thing was new! AAAHHH i can't wait!!:banana:
