Stupid Question.. question about the morph calculator on WOBP
Now, I was just messing around to see how it worked and all. so I took two ball pythons..
Pinstripe x Galaxy
=
Now I notice where it says Pinstripe and Galaxy on the same line.. as two seperate snakes.. does that mean its not a morph that has yet to be found?
From what WOBP says, Pinstripe and Galaxy are "dominate traits" So shouldn't it create some kind of mix between the two or am I not understanding how this all works?
Re: Stupid Question.. question about the morph calculator on WOBP
What it is saying is that on average out of 4 eggs there would be 1 normal, 1 galaxy, 1 pinstripe, and 1 mix which it is calling a pinstripe galaxy. Just means the combo has not been given a nickname... An example is a bumble bee.. It is also a pastel spider.
Re: Stupid Question.. question about the morph calculator on WOBP
I noticed they don't have a picture of the Pinstripe Galaxy. Does one exist? or does it exist under another name?
Re: Stupid Question.. question about the morph calculator on WOBP
When it comes to breeding, do people just.. look at two morphs that have yet to be paired together and put em together to see what happens or does a lot more go into it then that?
Re: Stupid Question.. question about the morph calculator on WOBP
Some people just do it to be the first. Others look at the patterns/colors and think how they can compliment each other and what negative outcomes there could be. If they like the possibilities that they have in their mind then they put them together. That is all I can say about that honestly. I know a lot have come out great but a few came out really ugly. The sable gene comes to mind on that one. A pastel sable is really ugly but other combos are awesome.
