I've seen a lot of different opinions on humidity, what is the ideal humidity to keep?

40%-60% normally, 60%-80% during shed.

Humidity?
I read online pass 75 can cause possible RI's or promote bacterial growth. Is that false?

Re: Humidity?
I personally think anything below 50% is too low. I prefer my normal humidity to be between 60-70% and in shed to be more. I have never had an RI ever. If your air is stagnant and enclosure is dirty, yes it could promote bacteria growth. But I have good air circulation and clean my enclosures every time they are soiled.
If you look at a BP's natural range, the humidity in Africa is pretty high.

That is bit misleading. The average humidity in the parts of Africa that BP's come from ranges between 48%-95% with the average being between 77%-85%
The problem isn't the humidity, its condensation and low airflow. As long as you have adequate airflow and no condensation forming in the cage you shouldn't have a problem.
I keep my cages at 60%-70% humidity normally without any issues.
