    What do you think?
I know I was neglect full.
    But she gave no indication.
Came home from the reptile expo.
And there she was sitting on 5 eggs and one pushed out.

The one all deflated is what I want to ask about. I honestly hadn't checked on her in a week. And didn't see her on them and my BF said he saw her coiled like I found her on her eggs today 2 weeks ago :-O
It smells. Not like a rotten egg but pretty not normal.
The others are fine a little dehydrated but strong veins and they'll pull thru.
But the little one is what I don't believe will make it. Has some veins but looks like it may be slowly dyeing.

Also what is that spot on the top egg?

I have no clue if it would work. but if it has veins and it was mine I would get a nice sterile needle and try and fill it back up with distilled water. then seal up the hole with some glue and see what happens.

Holy smokes I didn't know people did that!
I may just try. I have saline solution. Would that work?

Usually called a "window" egg. The spot is just a part of the egg that didn't fully develop. They usually don't present a problem and are actually pretty cool because you can sometimes see the baby through the "window"...

That sucks what happened to you. Good luck with those eggs though.

It's worth a try if that's what you have on hand. it sure beats doing nothing and just letting it die in my book.

I'll have to do it tomorrow. Walgreens has empty needles I hope :-/

If Walgreens doesnt, many feed stores do. They are normally in the horse medication section.

    Re: What do you think?
don't use destilled water, due to the low osmotic value of destilled/demineralised water it will rapidly flow into healthy cells of the embryo causing them to expand and burst. If by a small wonder that egg still has a chance I would use a boiled saline solution to inject into it. Saline has the same osmotic value as cells from living tissue so it will not destroy it... but judging from the picture I wouldn't say that egg still has a chance.

I don't know how you have your eggs set up in your 'bator but I've seen eggs a little less bad than that bounce back. I find the substrate method works best for moisture delivery as long as your comfortable getting the consistency proper. Good luck.
