Various species in one rack system?
I currently house all of my scale babies in tanks. I'm at a tipping point though and I'm wondering...does anyone house different species of reptile in the same rack?
I have leos, a bp, and a corn and I would like to get a hognose and at least one more bp in the future. The bp, hognose and the leos need the same hotspot temp, but corns are lower, so she would have to run on a different thermostat.
Is this something that anyone else has tried? Is this worth it? Is there some inherent reason why this is a bad idea?
I haven't bought any new reptiles or a rack or anything so I'm simply in the "thinking about it" stage. What are your thoughts?

As long as Species will have same Temperature Requirements I dont see a problem...

Humidity can be always altered with different substrate bigger/smaller bowl ect ect

I've kept my African House Snakes and Ball pythons in same rack without any Issues...:gj:

What he said. Many people house Balls and RTBs in the same racks. Brian Gundy does off the top of my head.

As long as the heat tape isn't one long strip snaked through the whole rack there is no reason you couldn't wire up multiple thermostats and run different temps in separate bins of the rack.

I've had balls, Angolans, boas (on the lower levels: cooler), and my coastal the same rack without problems.

Thanks everyone! I would LOVE to have a little space back at some point. If I happen to build a rack that has a few extra spots...so be it... ;)
