    Well you can "pop" I snake. but I have know idea how to do it and I've ehard it can injure the animal.

    Although not a definitive way to determine sex, don't males generally tend to have shorter tails than females? Just something I've noticed when I've looked at pictures, now that I think about it....

    This method isn't very precise, because there aer definitely exceptions to the rule, but try this.

    Look at the style of haircut your BP wears. Longer hair may indicate a female, where shorter hair may indicate male. However, sometimes style, confusion, allegience to a particular subculture may render this method inaccurate and unreliable.

    Sometimes you can tell gender by name, though that's getting harder nowadays and it's always been difficult with names like Chris and Terry.
