any advice for switching from f/t to live/ prekilled
i got a beaaaaaaaaaautiful lesser male around 600g on CL, the guy said he fed f/t rats. He's thin but not dangerously so, he definitely needs to gain some weight, probably 100g, so he has a bit more girth. I was under the impression that a snake fed f/t would jump at the chance to eat live/ prekilled, but this guy doesn't have any interest after 5 attempts of offering live rat pup, live and prekilled mice, live small rat. All of my snakes are live/prekilled eaters. I tried to feed f/t once, literally none of them ate, so that was $40 something dollars down the drain. i really, really don't want to keep frozen rats in my freezer. tricky eaters are not new to me, but f/t territory is completely foreign to me.

Just let him settle for a while, my Pastel Butter didn't eat for 2 months after getting him.

Yes just give him some time and he should be just fine. Some take more time than others to settle down .
