    Egg #1? Maybe?
So I went to check on the girls for the morning and opened Bella's tub to find this:

My immediate thought was that she needed to take a piss or poo or something. However, she tried to come out of the tub and the "buldge" didn't go away. After the minute it took me to grab my phone and get a picture, she was trying to come out of her tub so I closed it and ran to the forums xD This is Bella, a pastel bred to a lesser and pewter (though no locks witnessed with the pewter). She's had a ridgeback for nearly 2 weeks but isn’t due until 8/9! She's on day 21 POS today.

So, does this look like an egg? Or was my initial thought of a poop/pee more correct? I don’t want to open the tub again if she is laying. I want her to do her thing in peace. It just took me by surprise since she's a virgin girl and I was under the impression that they tend to lay late xD

I'm not exactly the voice of experience here, but that doesn't look like any about-to-poop that I've seen, are you certain that she's 21 past POS and not pre-lay shed? I guess you'll find out either way in couple of hours!

By POS I mean post ovy shed. She shed July 10th and ovulated June 26th.

I've waiting on another female to lay. The other female is 32 days post shed and looking miserable. She was egg adjusting yesterday. This girl is 21 days post shed and I wasn't expecting her to lay yet.

That looks like an egg pushed towards her vent to me. What is she doing now?

She stalled :/ I guess I startled her. She's coiled up, tail in the center. I've got her tub covered, lights off, and the door is shut. It's dark and nice and quiet in there. I've gone to work but ill check on her when I get home. If nothing, I check I'm the morning. Come on Bella!

Bella is my female. On a vacation/Maternity stay at BHReptiles place as she had a large enough male to breed to her and an establishes incubator.

I've been very pleased with how well Bella has maintained her colors. I got her from Ken McAlexander at BallPythonInvestments. She is also the tamest BP ever and I love her to death. The lesser he was bread to is an excellent specimen too so the babies I expect to be pretty tip top of the line in quality!

PS- Bella won BPOM not long ago sharing a drink with her dinner. She's so tame she would rather wine and dine her dinner than eat it sometimes!

I caught my pewter like that and she was also twisting around and turning herself into a pretzel. She stalled - but the next day I came in to eggs. My money is on her laying last night.

    UPDATE!

No eggs yet :/ neither girl is willing to give up their hostages. Both showing signs of being close. Both looking like miserable pretzels. Bella was curled and laying inverted. I do wish she would lay already! I'm trying a new tactic: make the girls think I don't care when they lay. Reverse psychology ;) Don't tell, them though!
