Egg Adjustment!!!!!

So because this is the only place who can share in my egggggcitement ;)

I got up at 5 am because the dog had to go outside. I figured I would check on the girls since one of them is acting close. She was VERY hissy (she never hisses) and tried to tag me when I was misting her moss in her tub. Well, the girl who is day 20 has wrapped herself up like a pretzel (however still sitting on her belly) while the girl on day 31 is REALLY a pretzel. Just a quick peek had her folded all over herself.

So, egg adjustment means I should see eggs very, very soon, yes?

Not necessarily... Thought my fire girl looked ready to lay 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting :oops: Day 45 and counting... Hope she drops some nice eggs for you soon!

Well, I've never seen her look this way. I didn't think they could fold themselves in this manor. Her attitude change coupled with this new "adjusting" behavior makes me think today sometime.

I hope she doesn't keep me guessing for 14 more days D:

This is what I saw just 24 hours before she laid and saw this from mom #2 just a day before she laid as well. I am not saying that you will get eggs in the next 24 - 48 hours but its a possibility.

Me too! I'm super pumped!

I checked on the girls around 11:30 this morning and both are acting like the pretzels never happened. Both back into their pretty coils in their "nest" in the moss. I should have gotten a picture. However, at 5am and being half asleep, I didn't think about finding my phone.

I'm hoping Tabitha will go in the next day or two.

That's pretty close to what she looked like. She was just a little more "twisted" onto herself

Just like Andy said, we saw our girl twisted up like that the day before she laid. It's almost like they're squeezing themselves like a tube of toothpaste. But instead of brushing your pearly whites, they give you pearly whites. :D

I hope she lays. I bought her a rat on my rat run today. She's the only one who can eat large smalls/small medium rats so she should lay so this rat doesn't go to waste!
