    Did he shed?? Need advice.
My king and I are going through our first shed together, so be patient if I seem paranoid. I can't find anything online about how long the shed process should take. Here is our timeline:
    - Fed him on Tuesday
    - Left him alone on Wednesday
    - Went to handle him Thursday, noticed dusky skin and blue eye caps (got super excited as this is my first shed)
    - Left him alone Friday and Saturday (checked in on him Friday night and noticed at least one eye cap was gone)
    - Checked on him again today (Sunday) while changing his water, his skin and eyes are both cleared up. To me he looks shiny again but I'm paranoid I'm seeing things. I gently picked him up and dug around in his cage a bit but there is no sign of a skin anywhere. There is also no sign of dead skin stuck to him. He's pretty friendly right now, seems content in my hand.

Should he have shed by now? Or am I expecting this process to go too fast? Is it possible to not find the skin? I'm about to tear his tank apart looking for phantom skin!

It can take a week or so. Trust me, you cannot miss it!

Once they are deep in shed they will go through a short period where it looks like they are back to normal, they will shed soon after that. :gj:

Oh thank goodness! I swear I was losing my mind. I'll let him be for a another week.
