    Looks really good!

If the thermometer reading in the second picture is typical of your cage, you might need to set your UTH a few degrees higher, but everything else looks spot on.

That was directly after I plugged everything back in. Although its reading 3 degrees less than the thermostat

Looking good!!! Have you considered blackening the sides and back? And is it just me or is there an awful lot of condensation in there? Just misted?

OK, 3 degrees sounds about right. Is your thermometer probe ontop of the substrate or below it on the floor of the tank?

Below the substrate. Right on top of the UTH. Soon as I posted that, I checked and it was matching the thermostat. 92 degrees. With a 77 over all.

I use paper. Any paper will do, some people use printer paper while other opt for a colored construction paper. As long as it makes 3 sides of the cage opaque it will work.

Perfect. You will get 2-4 degree temperature swings when using the hydrofarm so don't worry too much if you see the reading a few degrees below the thermostat set temperature for short periods of time.

I used black shelf liner for mine. It's kind of a soft fabric type? Is not perfectly black but enou to really darken the tank for my no legged beasties.

77 is a bit low for ambient I 'think' ... Risks a drop below 75 at night which iirc is bad.

Just checked. Temps are 92, 80 over all and 65% humidity.
