2 part question... feeding and shedding
we went to feed our girl and she refused to eat. while she was moving around in her feeding tank i noticed that her belly had a slight pink hue. so i guess she is about to shed.

first question: we use f/t mice and since she refused it is it ok to refreeze it? we thawed it using warm water and it was out of the freezer a total of about 1.5 hrs. right now it is in the fridge cuz i wasnt sure if it was ok to refreeze. never had a snake refuse to eat before.

second question is in regards to her humid hide. i took a shoe box and put a warm wet washcloth inside. i put it on the warm side of her tank. is that sufficient? or do i need to do something else?

any help would be appreciated. thanks

You should be able to refreeze the rodent, but use good judgment next time you unfreeze it as to whether the rodent is still good or not.

As for the humid hide that is less than ideal. While it may work short term what you really need is a real hide (not made of paper) and some moss/coco husk substrate to put inside it.
