    My very first clutch
I am happy to report that I now have 5 newly hatched BP worms. Because I was sure in the beginning if I posted anything about my first clutch , then I would manage to mess something up and would be on here explaining that the newbie screwed up the eggs. So here is my first time successful breeding attempt.

I started pairing my normal female "Norma" to my yellow belly male "Harry" I witnessed 5 locks between them from December 5th thru Jan. 25 th.

    Here is Harry

This was Norma on April 19th after her post-ovy shed.

On May 24th Norma laid 5 big white eggs

I incubated at 88 degrees and 99% humidity and was bound and determined to let them pip on their own

On Saturday morning July 20 the first one pipped

The second one pipped Saturday night , 2 more Sunday morning and the last one pipped Sunday night.
All 5 have exited the eggs today July 23rd and I am happy to say that I "think" I have 3 yellow bellies and 2 normal

Here is a group shot today and a few single shots. 1 of the normal has a large black stripe down his back and his alien heads are kinda joined together. I tried to get a pic of it but I did not want to stress him out, and will get better pics after they all shed.

I want to thank everyone on here for the knowledge that have passed on. I don't post very often because I am so new to this hobby and have so much to learn. But I know this clutch was successful because of what I have learned from the members of this forum.:gj:

Congrats on the clutch. They look great. Good on the odds too. Now here's hoping you have more females as well.

It really is hard, but I was so paranoid that I would mess something up I let mother nature do her own thing. To be honest, I am really glad that I did. It was so exciting to see that first little slit and then to see little noses popping out of the eggs it was well worth the wait.

Did you see any markings on the eggs before they actually cut thru?
