I just bought a Golden Pothos and a Little Gold Angel Ficus. Are either one of these okay in a crestie cage?

They should both be fine because cresties don't chew on leaves or stems. I have a pothos, an ivy, and a something I forget, and the pothos has done the best, by far.

You're welcome. :) I am looking forward to your getting your cresties. Do you have a target yet?

I've just about got the temp cage set up - I need some climbing branches and I'm set. I've already bought some CGD and baby food. I always have fruit in the fridge and I need to buy some Gargolye diet. I know who I'm going to buy from. At the reptile show 2 weeks ago he had a crestie for sale. I wasn't ready to bring one home so I told him I'll take it if noone buys the little cutie. Otherwise he had 2 eggs still incubating. I'm going to email him later today. I belive they are flame cresties.

I'm sooooooo excited. I can't wait to be able to post my little one for all to see.

I don't know about your area, but around here the dollar stores almost always have bundles of garden stakes or bamboo that you can use to set up climbing branches pretty easily. I have one bamboo held in place by melted plastic from the soldering iron, and the rest just lean on it. Sounds like you're just about ready to play crestie-mama!

(On a related note, my cresties are getting ready to be much happier. My AC is supposed to be fixed tomorrow -- yay! Poor Sandiego leapt out of his enclosure onto Jessica and then from her onto the fan 3 times yesterday trying to cool off. We put some ice pops on top of the enclosure to try to cool it down, but it only took a couple of minutes to melt them each time.)

Thanks for the idea! I'd love to find some bamboo. If I can't find any at the dollar stores, any other idea where I might find some?

    Thanks as always!

Can probably get some at Lowe's or Home Depot or if not there, a Garden supply store ^_^

Might be in the fencing section

Ahh. I would never have thought about the fencing section. Thanks!
