    age at first shed?
I asked my ex how old Toke was approximately and he said that they were told when theyvot her that she was a hatchling.... And its been about 3-4 months since they got her.. They say shehasnt shed to their knowledge. I was just curious the average age of a bp when it will shed the first time, mainly since toke hasn't shed since I've had her and its been five weeks.

She definitely should have shed by now. It's entirely possible they missed the shed. I got mine as a hatchling, and her first shed with me was a tiny little ball under her hide. Yay for complete sheds! But if they just dumped the substrate without carefully looking or mistook it for feces, they probably didn't notice the shed.

A ball python should shed within a week or so of hatching then every 4-6 weeks for the first year.
