I have an enchi male he is not that good looking he has a normal pattern and the only thing that tells its an enchi is its colors i have breed it into a normal female and produced 4normal and 4reduced enchi... The thing is is it possible the normal looking sibs turning into enchis as they grow??http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/21/jetaju3y.jpg

they cant genetically turn into enchis, but enchis tend to lighten up and show more of their golden colors up to 6-700 grams, so it is possible that the snakes you thought were normals are starting to show their enchi colors more.

    Hi,

No they will either be born enchi ( like the one stretched out in the first pic) or they will simply not have the enchi gene at all.

I already traded the 3 enchis.... Im thinking that I should hold back the remaining normal females hoping it would turn into enchis as they grow.....

Only the one at the front of that picture is an enchi I'm afraid.

A wild type ball python (normal), or any other type for that matter, can NOT turn into anything else as it gets older. Either an animal is born with a gene (which is expressed visually in the case of a codom gene like Enchi), or they are not. What you are hoping for is like asking a chihuahua to turn in to a beagle as it grows - not gonna happen.

I'm with Dr. del. having just hatched an enchi clutch myself, only your one at the bottom of the last pic is an enchi and the others are normal. Nice clean enchi pattern though.
