    If the tub height is 5.3 inches, would 5 1/2 inches be a good spacing for the shelves or is that too much/little?

    I would go for a 1/8th inch spacing (0.125")

    The easiest way to do this is to use CD's/DVD's as spacers. 3 CD's approximately equally 0.125"

    the tubs didnt come in when expected so I dont have them yet. Ima just do 5 and 7/16. thats .1375 bigger. shouldnt be a big problem.
