So, I purchased 8' of the THG heat tape at Repticon Columbia the other weekend. All I have to say is I love it. Assembly took me a whole 10 minutes to assemble 4 shelves worth (that doesn't include taping it down on the shelves). It heated up super fast and temps are more stable than flexwatt throughout the tape. I loved the eyelet design and is super user friendly. I recommend this to everyone. I'm eventually going to replace all my flexwatt with this.

I picked THG over Flexwatt for my first-ever use in heat tape about three or so weeks ago. I second your review, I really enjoy it. :) Stable all the way across. I got mine from Reptile Basics and they wired it for you free of charge; very happy over all.

i've heard nothing but good things about THG, and after a few "little" mishaps with my flexwatt varying way more than my liking in different spots, i think for all my future racks i'll go with THG.

Thanks for the review! I was contemplating buying some THG tape, and now I'm certain that's the route I'll be going.
