    Not eating but alright
Alright, well my Kingpin girl has now been with me for 8 weeks.
She has not ate and has lost/not lost 0-2g(scale can be finicky)
I am cool about it but figured any volume from others could be helpful.

    She is at 285g
78-82 at night cool and perfect 89-90 hot
humidity is from 65-70 (honestly its been super hot her so iy can reach 80 at some points)

Shes in a 32 qt bin but i have 2 hides, 1 small low profile which she is always in and a reptile basics adult filled with crumpled newspaper.
    Her tub is cluttered

I tried fuzzy rat, fuzzy rat with mouse scent, gerbil scent
I tried lrg and med mouse, rat scent and gerbil scent
I tried live in small mouse, lrg mouse, rat fuzz and rat crawler.
I have tried these options every 4 days, im not stressing her or anyhing

i do the feedings at 3am since im a night guy
she wont eat, she will smell and come face to face but thats it.

The breeder said she was a pig on baby rats but she isnt eating, also isnt losing weight but i have 2 other bps and a milk that are pigs...so its freaking annouying

Maybe try a small ASF if you can get your hands on them?

You could try scenting a rat with tuna juice as a last ditch effort... I don't know if it works for balls, but it sure does for hognose lol. Or just live with the fact that you have a stubborn little ball :) Which isn't a bad option, considering there's no weight loss at the moment. Good luck!!

I might try the tuna thing. ;) I did it for my milk when he was a little jerk and wouldn't eat.

78ish just happeneds to be around the ambient temps of the house...ish. All depeneds but ambient is 78-84..
3 other snakes and a gecko do alright with my temps.

Im just kinda throwin this out there for ideas and when i need to worry since shes under 300g

Thanks Moot and Del for replying

Stop changing the scent every 5 seconds! How on earth do you think your snake will learn what to eat if the food keeps changing?? :rolleye2:

Stick with rats, the same size every 5 days. The same routine. The same time of day.

Ill have to agree with Ricky on this one. Keep it simple. If she was eating well enough before on rats, there's no reason why shell suddenly want tuna scented mice. She's probably just stressed from the move, and being offered odd foods every 4 days. If it was me, id put her in a 6 qt tub and offer a live rat pup evey week like I do the rest of my hatchings. Shell eat when she's ready. She's not losing weight at all so that's really good. Also, Imo, you'd have more problems with her imprinting on gerbil scented rats then asf. Good luck and let us know how she does! :) sorry for any mistakes, on phone.
