Newbie question

Im not exactly sure how to word this but when someone refers to a snake and uses a number with a decimal next to it what does that mean? For example 1.1 pastel

It signifies gender.

1.0 is male, 0.1 is female, 0.0.1 is unknown gender.

1.1 means one male and one female

If there's a fourth digit it means eggs. So, 0.0.0.4 is four eggs in the incubator.
