Quick ASF question

Not sure if this is the proper area to post this in, so I'm hoping someone can give me some insight.

I'm having a couple live ASFs delivered tomorrow & I could potentially keeping them for a few days until my picky eaters shed.

Now, my question is, can I house them in an enclosure that has been treated with PAM? It was sprayed down about 3-4 days ago.

I don't think it would be an issue, but I just wanted to double check so I don't end up feeding my babes sick food.

If the enclosure it's self has been treated with PAM it should be fine. The only issue I'm aware of is treating the feeder rodents with PAM (i.e. spraying the mite spray directly on the ASF). which believe it or not actually happens.. lol

So in short, it should be fine as long as you follow the same directions as you would for a reptile enclosure.

Okay awesome. Yeah, I definitely wouldn't spray the poor thing directly haha. I can't believe people do that!!?!

Cat or dog food, any dark green/colorful leftover veggies, or cereal can work in a pinch. No onions, garlic, or anything you wouldn't feed a dog basically. Just make sure they have plenty of water. If you use a water dish set on the floor, be prepared to clean it out A LOT. Lol they're total slobs :)
