So, it's official - my dh has agreed to allow me to get a Burmese and has allotted me a space 7ft long x 3ft wide x 6ft tall for the cage! I had to agree to also allow him to get an Iguana and design the cage - two giant reptillians in the house of course. Is that big enough for an adult female Burmese? I've always wanted an albino female Burmese. I'll have to build climbing structures strong enough to hold her of course to maximum the cage space. I was thinking of doing about 1/3 of the bottom as a water feature? Give her a soaking area? I'd like to build strong multiple platforms and climbing structures. Is this a good idea or bad or? Any and all input is greatly appreciated!
Edit: He's not a big snake fan - he likes things with legs so I'm glad he agreed - though I did have to promise to never ask to build an alligator pond
