Did anyone else watch Glee at some point?

I watched the show when it started running, and through the third season before I got fed up with the writers, but my annoyance never extended to the cast (after all, it's not their fault the writers suck). I know he struggled with substance abuse, and was in rehab earlier this year. I have a feeling this could be related to a relapse, or a relapse itself :(
I lived with a recovering addict and a on-the-wagon again addict, and it is a terrible thing to watch someone you care about spiral to rock bottom :( poor guy. poor girlfriend (he was dating Lea aka Rachel). Crappy way to go out :/
