first gut experance.

I fed my smallest bp today and when I gave it to him he shook it around like a dog does with his toy. Well the mouse's guts came out and he wanted nothing to do with it. Don't blame him for not eating it. From the smell I wouldn't either if I were a snake. Lol. So I got him another one and he shook him around a bit before squeezing the second one then ate him. I swear my snakes are a bunch of weirdos.

Gotta love blowouts. I'm assuming F/T? How are you thawing them?

While constricting a f/t my rainbow popped one in his pool and then ate it completely under water. It was something else.

I've had a couple f/t feeders tear open before: just two days ago my butter actually decapitated her feeder all by herself (who knows how she pulled that off....literally).

HaHa! The most I've seen is bleeding from the eyes courtesy of my rat snake. The ball strikes hard but squeezes "light". Not gonna lie, I want and don't want to see something like this at the same time.

I've had that, but most recently was a tail snapping off when the snake grabbed the rat off the tongs. It was pretty gross, lol.

It's always fun to have an 80 gram rat explode on impact. I had that happen about a month or two ago and the guts got all over the snake and the tub. Not a fun experience. I was very thankful that it didn't explode outward towards me because I would have puked if the mouse guts landed on me. That smell is just awful.

In a bag under warm water till it's warm.

I have one snake that shakes his food like a rag doll before consticting and my other one eats it ass first every time. My third just doesn't strike at his food. He lightly grass it. I feed him without tongs. And yeah the smell of a gutted mouse stinks. Lol
