What do your eggs look like when they are about to hatch?
Well I like to tinker with everything in all my hobbies and reptiles isn't any different. I've tried many rack and cages designs and I've toyed a lot with incubators since I started breeding. I'll admit, normally by the time my eggs are ready to hatch, they look like crap. Discolored, shriveled up, or misshaped, sure I had some look good, but most looked like crap. They always hatched and people said it wasn't uncommon, so I never really thought about it. Well with this new incubator, eggs stayed plump white, 1 dent when the time came, and they are due to hatch in a week or so and I've never seen eggs look this good under my supervision. I got a few more clutches in there and they are doing the exact same thing.

So after seeing this, made me wonder, what does everyone else's eggs look like come hatch time? Plump and white and its about damn time I got it right or do they normally look less than appealing?

Out of curiosity; what if several eggs/clutches hatched under your nose, how are you able to tell what's what? Gearing more towards hets vs normals from another clutch

When they get near due date, I put them in separate containers, I was actually putting the one clutch into one, but decided to snap a picture before hand. Besides when eggs start hatching, im like a little kid on xmas and I'm checking on them constantly, so I can tell you what egg every snake came out of anyways lol. but yea, I dont want little hatchling roaming around my incubator.

Hopefully this isn't a really stupid question but if the mother urinates on the eggs during incubation would it turn the eggs more yellowish?

My eggs look no where near as nice as most I see.

They didn't look too bad. The color was still fairly white but they dimpled a bit....
