    Breeders: live or frozen/thawed
I was just wondering how breeders feed their animals. Ive heard that feedng frozen/thawed is easier when your feeding a large amount of snakes but the snakes ive recieved from breeders (3 breeders) all told me that the snakes were eating live. Also can/will hatchlings eat frozen/thawed.

It really depends on how long youre interested in dangling the food in front of the snakes face. Some will eat if you just drop it in but i have personally never has luck with that. Of course its important to get a thawed food item to the correct temp first otherwise your snake might not know what to do with it.

I think more breeders actually feed live than FT... it provides its own enticement. You can just throw in the live food and walk away, but be sure to never leave it in too long.

Personally i feed live and put eyes on the interaction every 20 minutes quick and easy the animals eat great.

I feed live with no issue.
I think you got it backwards. F/T is more convenient with smaller collections. The more snakes you have, the more time you spend individually zombie dancing the feeder for every snake. If I did F/T, feeding could potentially take hours compared to the 10-15 mins it takes me to feed live.

Ok. Its just that most videos ive seen of breeders feeding shows them feeding thawed rodents and usually they have a bunch on a cart. Thats what kind of made me wonder about it.

I'm sure there are big breeders that feed f/t. But, its not as common.

The vids you saw are probably showing F/T because showing a live feeding video can cause drama amongst the animal activists and rat lovers. I know I got tons of spam and hate from a live feed video I made.
