    Hello I am a new owner of a Ball that I rescued, I researched how to take care of them, however my ball won't eat I am trying frozen thawed any insight would be helpful.....thanks

    If he's not used to eating f/t he may only eat live...

    It is how nature intended it. It's better for the snake to eat live than the snake to eat nothing.

    Just make sure you supervise.

    What is your setup like? Please read the BP caresheet to make sure your new guy feels secure and comfortable. How long have you had him, and how long since he last ate? How often are you offering?

    Temps are a big cause of refusals security is the second. Husbandry issues should be checked first. The next question is how heavy is it?

    give him something small, and live. make sure your temperatures are good.
